The Irrigation and Hydraulics Laboratory was established in 2002, and new devices are added every year, and it has become to serve the department research. The laboratory allows the physical and chemical evaluation of the products obtained as a result of the field studies carried out by the department instructors. During the establishment phase of the laboratory, TÜBİTAK and DPT projects carried out by the Faculty Members were supported. The first foundation infrastructure of the laboratory was realized with the projects supported by the Scientific Research Projects Unit of our University. The purchase of the main fixtures currently in use is DPT-2002K*120170, “Creation of organic drip irrigation programs suitable for the physiological development performance of tomato, melon, soy and peanut plants in organic farming areas in Gökçeada” and “The root obtained with the help of a Minirhizotron camera with the help of TÜBİTAK TOVAG 1080137”. The projects were carried out with the title of “Possibilities of using the images of the development in irrigation applications”.
