Plant Stress Monitoring and Thermography Laboratory (BISITLAB) was established in 2018 as part of the TÜBİTAK 1001 project "Determination of Water Stress in Pepper Using Turgor Pressure and Thermography Techniques".

Researches that support each other are carried out in both field and laboratory conditions on the use and development of agricultural-oriented technologies within the working areas of our department. In our laboratory, studies are carried out on the development of an early warning system by detecting the responses of different culture and ornamental plants grown in a controlled environment against biotic and abiotic stress conditions with different sensors and technologies, under a spectrum lighting system with a combination specially created for plants.
